students in an after-school program 180 days for 3 hours per day, and a
Summer program with field trips and other activities.
There are 145 students enrolled in our program. We serve students
in Massac County in grades 4 thru 8 at our sites. Our funding is
primarily through the Illinois Department of Human Services TeenREACH
grant. We also implement the Teen Action Program Grant and
numerous smaller grants.
We have programs for students with academic/homework assistance, life
skills, parent involvement, recreation, sports, cultural and artistic
activities. We also serve full meals to students at every session
of our program. There are no costs to the students or their
